Successfully balancing occasionally opposing forces can require great effort and commitment to finding the best solutions. This project had a dream team committed to a successful outcome. "What if.." and "What about trying..." were common questions during both the design and construction process. Whether balancing the vibrance of the city with the tranquility of Lake Michigan, home automation systems against simple controls, or media rooms vs. quiet areas for reflection, this unit achieved a graceful elegance that wasn't always guaranteed but was nurtured by mutual respect of the entire team.
