The Belden Stratford, originally built as a hotel residence, is a National Landmarked building overlooking Lincoln Park and Lake Michigan. It holds a soft spot in generations of Chicagoans hearts as the site of many receptions and celebrations over its life. Currently a residential apartment building, the property manager and owner are investing significant funds into modernization and updating of amenities for residents.
The first phase included a new rooftop deck allowing amazing views of downtown Chicago. A variety of seating choices accommodate many residents and functions at the same time including a grilling area, outdoor tvs, sun bathing, studying, working, surfing the web, or just taking in Chicago and the every changing colors of Lake Michigan.
Phase Two, the renovation of the grand first floor Lobby is currently in design with an anticipated completion of late fall 2018.
